The Professional Mentor:
Dave always made time for his people, or anyone junior in his organization. He made me better at my job by being there to introduce perspective whenever I was in a stressful situation. I didn't even work for him directly. He was a kind man and genuinely interested in helping other people. We should all strive to be more like Dave every day.

Dave was a great manager who had a genuine concern for his staff. My professional development accelerated on his watch. Over time, a solid professional relationship became a friendship as well. I will miss him greatly.
